A field of dandelions

Hi loves.

It's been a little while since I updated this blog section. I've tried to prioritize self care, exercise and rest, for the past two months. And I've also prioritized my writing in other ways, by journaling and writing poems. I'm also currently in the process of writing a new story to post in 'Stories from my life'.

It's about me and my friend's visit to Amsterdam in 2022. But there was so much going on during that trip, so I might have to post a part 1, and part 2.  Otherwise it will probably be a while before I'll have the chance to  finish the story and publish it. But I'd prefer to post the whole story in just one part. The story is going to be called 'Red lights (2022)

On another note, spring finally arrived a few weeks ago.

The birds are singing, the sun has been shining tremendously, and all the spring flowers are blooming.
Finally!

The temperature has been so high lately, that it's actually been possible to wear shorts and t-shirts. (In my opinion, it's actually been too hot to wear regular pants).

A few days ago, I was in the area with a field of dandelions. I remember that my father used to be so annoyed by the dandelions when we lived in Sweden. He used to call them "weeds", since they show up in places where you don't want them. "Unbelievable!!" He would say, when they grew through a crack by the house, or through concrete. But he was fascinated by them also, because he used to talk about the strength and determination of a dandelion.

The fact that they can grow through concrete, and find ways to expand and find sunlight, even through the smallest crack – is kind of beautiful.
