I'm just kidding, haha. Or am I? Well, I literally started off this new year with a bang, since I accidentally  stepped on a rotten plank on the porch. Me and my daughter had gone outside to watch the fireworks at midnight, and I thought it would be a nice idea to watch them from the porch. Sadly for me, that plank had other plans for me that evening. The plank broke, and I fell through the porch with my left leg. I hit my knee really hard as my leg fell through. 

Hi lovelies. I've just had summer vacation for three weeks, and I finally feel like I've had the chance to rest and recharge my energy completely. Since fall last year, I've felt very burnt out, and I've struggled with a lot of stress-related symptoms. The most prominent have been frequent migraines and headaches, but now they've also started to subside more, so I'm starting to feel better now than what I've felt in a long time. 

Hi loves.  It's been a little while since I updated this blog section. I've tried to prioritize self care, exercise and rest, for the past two months. And I've also prioritized my writing in other ways, by journaling and writing poems. I'm also currently in the process of writing a new story to post in 'Stories from my life'.

I feel like I've been going through a roller coaster of emotional turmoil for the past six months.  There's been a lot of emotions that's been brought up to the surface, and I'm currently trying to cope with them by writing and journaling.

For the last couple of months, I've been craving Asian food on a new level. I've been used to eating thai food my whole life, but lately I've also been craving other Asian foods in general.  During the weekdays, I try to make dinners that are easy and quick to make, preferably under 30 min (or less), but during the weekends, I enjoy taking the time to prepare and cook a home cooked meal - with love.  Lately, I've been craving Asian soups, so on friday, I made . . . Ramen noodles!
