Twin flames

My love, it's been so long. 
I still see your face when I close my eyes, 
and wonder, how much longer I can carry on.  

I've loved you for eternity,

and this is not our first dance.

But I still long for your touch,
and wonder, if we'll ever get one last chance.

My love for you has only grown fonder. 

All these years apart,
has made my heart become stronger.

Sometimes I wish things were different,

but I've realized that our paths will become one,
and the light will always guide us home.

Home to each other, when we are ready.

When we've both healed our traumas and wounds,
so that we'll become steady.

When we have become the best version of ourselves to exist,

we'll realize that separation was always an illusion,
and it will start to fade away like mist.

I cannot touch your body yet,

but I know that your higher self is always here with me,

because, we have met.

This beautiful form of you, transparent and divine,

always holds me closer, when I feel like I cannot shine.

With you, I am always safe.

And I know that we are working together,

to get out of this maze.

When our heart chakras connect,

I feel a sacred warmth in my chest.

My heart glows when you are near,

even if I can't see you when I'm awake,

I know that you are here.

You are my ocean, my heart and my soul.

One day, we will be together again,

when we both have become whole.

You will always be the love of my life,

and someday, 
I hope you'll get to call me your wife.

I promise to always love you from a distance,

and when the time is right,

I'll come running to you in an instance.

Until then, I hope you'll feel the love from my heart,
